A single installation serving several customers with their data kept apart: roles and permissions, subscription plans with their limits, invitations, billing. Down to per-country data separation when data cannot cross borders.
Real processes have exceptions, approvals, documents and deadlines that generic software never anticipates. I build what the work actually needs: records, state flows, PDFs, notifications, permissions. No settling for less.
Flutter apps for iOS and Android connected to the back office through an API, for people filling in reports on site or checking data at a client's office. One codebase, two stores, the same database as the office.
Inherited applications, the previous developer no longer available, versions frozen for years. I read the code, isolate the bugs, update the dependencies and start shipping features again — without stopping the people who depend on it.
In production
Every row is a system that is online right now, with real users and a release history behind it.
Industrial commissioning management: from construction handover all the way to final acceptance by the client. It tracks ITRs, punch lists, certificates and progress, with the schedule imported from Primavera P6 and MS Project.
A nutritionist's practice in a single application: client records, body measurements tracked over time, meal plans built on a food database, appointments and PDFs to hand to the patient.
The full round of a company that makes, ships and invoices: from the bill of materials that says how a product is put together, to stock, to the delivery note, to the invoice. Plus the customer appointment diary, on the same records.
Seven Italian card games played by the real rules, with game engines written from scratch and real-time online rooms for playing with friends. It installs straight from the browser on Android and iOS, no app store involved.
Method
The third and fourth are usually the missing ones — and that is exactly where projects stall.
Phase 01
I look at how you work today, spreadsheets included. Before any code is written we put in writing what the system must do, and what it must not.
Phase 02
Frequent releases to a test environment you can open whenever you like. You watch the software grow, and we correct course while it is still cheap.
Phase 03
Server, domain, HTTPS certificate, backups, migration of existing data, training for the people who will use it. I hand over a running system, not a zip file.
Phase 04
Software keeps living: new requests, new regulations, new versions. I stay the person you call after sign-off too.
Technology
I pick the tool to fit the problem, not the other way round. Nothing on this list is theoretical: it is all in projects I have taken to production.
