What data I collect

Data you send

When you fill in the contact form I collect your name, email address, optionally your company name, and the text of your message. That is all I need in order to reply.

Data the server records

As with any web server, the server logs your IP address, the date and time of the request and your browser type. This serves the operation and security of the site and is kept for the period set by the hosting provider.

Why I process it, and for how long

• Replying to enquiries — legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box in the form. I keep messages for as long as it takes to handle the enquiry and any professional relationship that follows.
• Operating and securing the site — legal basis: my legitimate interest in keeping the service running and protected.
• Legal obligations — if a contract follows from the enquiry, tax and accounting data is kept for the periods required by law.

Who it is shared with

Data is never sold or handed on. It may be processed on my behalf, and only as far as the service requires, by the hosting provider running the site and the mailbox. No data is transferred outside the European Union.

Cookies

This site uses no tracking or profiling cookies, no third-party analytics, no social buttons that follow you around and no advertising. That is why there is no consent banner.

The typefaces are hosted on Griani.Net as well: opening the site, your browser contacts no external server, neither Google's nor anyone else's. Everything it loads comes from this domain.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time to give you access to your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its processing, hand it to you in a readable format, or object to the processing. You can withdraw consent whenever you like, without affecting what was done beforehand.

Write to info@griani.net and I will reply within thirty days. If you believe your data is being handled improperly, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top of the page tells you when it last did.
